Modern Foreign Language - French Curriculum 

We teach French throughout Key Stage 2, using the Language Angels programme.

                                                           
This programme is followed in Year 3 to 6 and each year children will build on the vocabulary knowledge and speaking, listening, reading and writing skills they have developed in previous years. The knowledge and skills will take time to build progressively with year groups moving from Early Language Teaching to Intermediate Language Teaching.  This will move onto Progressive Language Teaching in subsequent years.

The units taught across the year are a mixture of key language skills to develop their conversational French as well as develop cross-curricular links.
