Reception Robins have been exploring heavier and lighter this week in their play.

Nightingale Class ventured to Hauser & Wirth Somerset today to start their exciting School without Walls project. They explored the gallery and were able to respond to the art that they had seen. The gallery leaders were really impressed with the questions that our children asked. #aspiration
As part of our progressive art curriculum, each class is starting the year with drawing skills. Linked with their Greek learning Falcons have been drawing Medusa, applying their shading skills. βοΈπ #belief

As part of their science topic on habitats, today Magpie Class went out onto the school grounds on a micro habitat hunt. π πͺ± π π³

Robin Class and Nightingale Class have been busy exploring mathematical learning in fun ways this week, including a first trip to Forest School for Robins.
Nightingale Class are involved in a very exciting School Without Walls project working with Hauser & Wirth in Bruton. This week Eleanor joined us from the gallery to introduce the project to the children. π¨
Our Key Stage 2 children have got off to a flying start with lots of amazing learning to be proud of π€©. Owl Class have been exploring their first class book, Stone Age boyπ¦΄, Kingfisher Class have created amazing ‘Brilliant Brain’ artwork π§ π¨ and Falcon Class have been creating 1920s dances ππΊas well exploring their class book Deadly Dare Mysteries by Malorie Blackman.
