Inspection Reports
Our school was recently inspected by Ofsted in November 2021. The report recognises the strengths of the school, particularly the positive behaviours, attitudes and personal development of all children, as well as the safe and happy environment of our school. It was unfortunate timing to carry out an Ofsted visit when the school was in amber status and significantly affected by an outbreak of Coronavirus in the weeks directly before the inspection. Some of the evidence gathered and the judgements given do therefore not reflect the standard and quality of the usual provision on offer. Please read the School Response Letter alongside the report for a more comprehensive, informative and balanced understanding of this process.
We thank our wonderful children and their families and our brilliant staff team, for their continued support and reflection on this experience. Our St Aldhelm's community will carry on the effective partnership between home and school and the hard work to make sure all of our children get the best possible experience to progress, achieve and succeed, "learning together for life in all its fullness".
At our November 2016 SIAMS Church School inspection, we were judged to be 'Outstanding'.
